![]() after you follow the guide of step by step now if you have you should have Oculus next to ATS and ETS and ETS should be VR 1.30 while ATS should be VR 1.29 now you wanna copy the ETS config.cfg file and paste it in the ATS config.cfg. Now copy everything now close it down and open ATS in same document's and go to config.cfg. Ok so you have followed the guide now open up the folder in ETS and open config.cfg Now if you have followed the VR Oculus step by step for ETS then we are good to go if u haven't don't do this until u have followed the ETS guide. Partly because I lost the texture on my truck doing it that way. I tried it out and, interestingly, I didn't like it. The one that you want to edit in located in Documents/American Truck Simulator/profiles/'you profile folder' That certainly worked. Main one in Documents/American Truck Simulator. Which you'll have to go into documents then euro truck sim. There are two different config.cfg files. throw your Oculus on the ground and stomp on it. And change this and that then I say fresh install ATS Ok if you haven't done any editing expect follow the step by step then we are good if you have gone into the files. Well are you ready to fix this you'll be shocked and prob thank me lol U can press f11 and it shows on the screen but not thru your Oculus. It won't load and leaves u with a black screen and yeh it's annoying and u start getting angry. So when you follow all this right click to 1.29 and type -oculus and all that. Ok the reason why it doesn't work on American truck is the patch date. And I figured it out which im going to explain to you so u can get it to work and enjoy it so let's get started. And I see all these guide and help but I went out and brought a Oculus Rift and like all I looked at help and guides trying to find a way to get it to bloody work lol. ![]() ![]() I see a lot of post about the Oculus Rift that its working on euro truck but not American truck. You might find better fidelity (and performance) in VR, if you set Scaling to 100, and instead increase the size of the pre-render buffer: Edit the config.cfg file found in.
